Today is the 23rd of June 2007. School is reopening in just over a month's time. This holiday seems to pass quickly, but it is also the most meaningful one i've ever had. For once, I make a big effort to try and meet everyone whom i hold dear to me and whom i want to keep contact with, during this period of 3 months. I've also tried my best to earn as much money as possible, keeping a balance between play, going out with friends, and earning money in the best possible way.
Today I met celine, a prudential agent. I know all agents have a characteristic, and that we cannot be very sure that they are 100% interested in making friends with you, because the motive of being so friendly might simply be to earn money. But I have convinced myself not to think of such negative thoughts, and she seems like a nice person to know. so we chatted for over an hour, and I finally decide to get an investment plan. I shall not go into the details.. but basically I feel motivated after talking to her, and it further strengthens my determination to make as much money as possible before I get really old. And ever since I got enlightened that we can never get rich by simply earning the few thousands per month religiously, I have thought of finding a way to kick start investments. And I'm glad I've finally started now.
The dinner with 21 brothers was like usual, fun and relaxing. The people present were Jinrong, Alvin Yap, Qingfu, Jackson, Jinquan, Alvin Chew, Florence, Tingting, Roan, and me! Laughters were constant, as usual. I really treasure this bunch of friends, and I think they are the best things I've ever had in my life.. even till now.
After dinner, the activity was slightly different from usual. The usual one will be for LJR to fetch us home, and everyone to go their seperate ways. But this time, I decided to go and find Lingling who is working at the Canon Showroom.. okie I finally get it right this time, its showroom, not showhouse.. the one beside the theatre at Vivo.
It was a difficult search initially because my phone had no batt, just before she call me. So I waited for her outside the closed Canon, while she waited for me outside Sushi Tei. And I was going to give up waiting for her after 15 min, when I suddenly remembered I had asked her to wait for me outside Sushi Tei. So I went to find her over there, and thank goodness she was still there. It was really nice catching up with her, and together with Xinyi, Honghan, Huizi and Hongjing, they are probably the best things I have in NBS. Meanwhile, I had a feel of her Samsung U600, and although I still feel that it is good in terms of the size and delicacy, the sensitive buttons and over glossy surface doesn't appeal good. The sensitive buttons made it difficult to press the call and cancel button, and the glossy surface made fingerprint marks a frequent thing throughout the cover. However, it just look like a nice, classy phone as a whole.
And finally, thanks Tania mei for lending me ur swimming toilet this morning.. otherwise I'll be going around sticky and stinky throughout the whole day lo!! =)
