Half a year ago, I found myself stuck in Pulau NTU for a whole week, mugging my life away in the reading room or NIE library, passing days of my life remembering that demand decrease when price increase, eating chicken rice day in day out, sometimes eat hokkien mee. I found myself driven mad by this incessant influx of NTUism, and decided to seek refuge outside; JE library, Woodlands Library or home, wherever welcomes me.
Half a year later, today, I found myself in the same situation, facing the dreaded exam, the one that everyone hates and detests. I found myself studying hard last sem, with no real purpose, except just to get pass a exam period. Now, I found myself slacking hard when there is actually a purpose to study, such is the weirdness of man. I slack since day one, work abit hard during project coz i paiseh to slack, slack hard after that, work abit hard before exams cause i think need to study for exam, and then after this much dreaded AC 213 IT paper, I found myself with no drive to study already. Maybe its the start-too-early symdrome. I just hate repeating reading what I've read before. Its like buying a story book and you are forced to read it once, which is alright because its a story book. And then, you are forced to read it a second time, a third time, because people say you have to. OMG, I rather there be many many story book, then at least your viewpoints and exposure increases. I think it should be the same for studying, we should study and read because we can get exposed to multiple viewpoints and understand more about life, about human, and the world. We should not be expected to memorise things in book, because this world should not be so technical.
I want to read storybook, but I know I wun have the endurance to finish reading one; and I probably wun understand everything in the storybook, but I still want to study like I'm reading a storybook.
I'm thinking, how did Bangladesh have such a cute name? Like Bangla.. just sounds like burglar, which means bad guy. oh BanGla(BG) = Bad Guy. This is the common descrimination. I hate people who say we should not be racist, but who will rather spend one nite in a room with a bunch of stranger Singaporeans, and not dare to spend with nite with one bunch of Black Banglas. Why I call them black, argh, okie nvm.
(Side track; oh man Qingfu just came in and started with 4 words, si liao si liao, oh man.. I actually wanted to laugh, because where got people come in and start a convo like that.)
But anyway yar, I was saying about Bangla. Actually I don't like people of darker colours.. okie I M B. Because I think their culture cultivates a type of smell that is normal for them, but they never think that other people might not be able to accept that. Like I think, we should all smell neutral. Recently I've become very particular with smell, I think everyone should bath 2 times, or 3 times a day. Once before you go out, once after you come back, and probably once before you sleep. One of them can be without soup, just cleanse away all the sweat. I personally sweat alot, but I think everyone will sweat more or less, so everyone should bath twice. And now everyone should brush teeth 2 times instead of once, and to lead by example I brush thrice during a weekend last wk. Yes I think everyone should be clean.
Next, let me think of what I should write. I haven written something very intelligent here for a very long time, so I shall think hard. Oh I think NTU should give everyone a big big goodie bag full of snacks during the exam period, because we pay 6000 per year for our education. 6000 per yr * 3 or 4 = SG$18000 or SG$24000 per education. If one pack of goodie bag cost $10, den 10 * 6 or 8 = $60 or $80. Can you believe how much NTU's reputation will improve and spread if people know the school care so much for their student. The goodie pack can add in some medicine like panadol and piriton, to solve some common sickness that students face during studying for exam. I will be so damn touched if someone offer me medicine when I need it, since I always fall to minor illness every now and then. So yar, I think I should be awarded a NTUbel prize for this wonderful recommendation
Cant 2 waffle auntie. I think the nitetime auntie should realli start putting in some effort to their work. Please stop making waffles that are soggily soft and spoil the reputation that the daytime auntie builds everyday. The waffles at night are realli disgusting. The other day I bought one to eat and bought another for my mei and when I reach her place, it was soggily soft, like mian bao like that. So oh my god. And there is red bean inside, it's like eating red bean mian bao. And btw, it's already soggy one hr ago before I reach her place, and I reached her place one hr after I bought.
waha.. is there anyone who wants to play msn games with me? I'm so bored after the IT paper. Next week paper must study one week earlier.. where got logic. and Pulau NTU decrees upon me 3 core papers next week so I wun know which one to study, so I dono what to study, means I cannot study, means I don need to study, I love NTU!
